lunch time woes.

i brought my lunch today, but i don't feel like eating it. It might be due to the fact that I ate this huge cinammon roll during my prep period, and I'm still not hungry. I know that come around an hour, i'll be wishing i had eaten during lunch time, but as of now, i'm not feeling having to open the box, put the salad dressing, shake it and then gobble down all the lettuce of happiness. isn't that weird? not to be motivated to eat lunch? damn you cinammon roll.

anyways, today (so far) has been relatively good. i kind of miss posting to my myspace blog coz more ppl have access to it (aka the friends list), but this is the only way i can blog at work. i might do what my friend has done and switch it all here, but the thing is....my students might find this, and well, that's just TMI for me to share with them, especially when i vent about my stupid frustrations about them. =P

one of my former students came by yesterday, and i was really excited to see her =) she was one of the students i really connected with during my student teaching, and i have seen her turn her attitude and life around. i would like to think that i had something to do with it because it makes me feel better. ha! anyways, for her to show up to my classroom JUST TO SAY HI was something that touched my soul. she even brought her baby (she was pregnant during her senior year) to meet me. she said, "i wanted to bring her to show you before she got too big." how sweet is that? =) we talked a little bit before 6th period started and she told me she would try to come by again to drop off a picture of her daughter because they are going to be taking pictures of her when she turns 3 months. *sigh* honestly, i never felt so happy about seeing a former student...and the funny thing is, my 5th period was asking me, "was she a former student?" and i told them she was, and they all smiled coz they knew i was excited to see her. how weird. i wish i would connect with students the same way i did with them. maybe one day i'll write a lil blog about this former student, because she has truly come a long way. my friend lisa will vouch that as well coz she had her for summer school.

bell's gonna ring and i need to get ready for my hardest part of the day. really...it's only wednesday?
